Don Spitler’s Teaching Philosophy: I love to learn, and I want to instill in students that same love of learning. I want my students to see my genuine enthusiasm about learning, and I try to do this through a variety of methods, including lectures, activities, and discussions. I believe in emphasizing that learning is more than mastering content to achieve a passing grade; learning instead should be more about attaining a life-long habit. The person who continues to learn even after receiving a degree is truly the person who succeeds in life.
