Mrs. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a minor in Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University as well as an Educational Specialist degree in Higher Education Administration – Leadership from Liberty University. She is currently working towards her Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Liberty University. She has numerous micro-credentials and certificates of completion in a variety of content areas.
Mrs. Lewis began her full-time career in higher education with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as an Academic Counselor for the Department of Nursing. From there, she became the Coordinator for the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps scholarship program. With experience in academic advising, admissions, financial aid, and scholarships, recruitment, budget management, teaching, leadership development, and event programming, she transitioned from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock after many years to the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College in Fall 2019 to become the Program Director for College Studies.
Mrs. Lewis spends her time outside of work with her family; husband – Rodney, son – Aiden, and two bonus daughters – Zoey and Madalyn. She is an avid sports fan and most weekends you will find her nowhere else but the ballpark or church with her family. She also loves animals and has four dogs, four cats, and several fish. She is most passionate about teaching and supporting her students as they work to achieve their individual goals and career dreams.
