  • Academic Bio:

    Kim Kwee joined UA-PTC in 2010 as a part-time visual art instructor and became a full-time instructor in 2012.

    Kim received a Master of Fine Art, a terminal degree in the field, with an emphasis in Painting and Sculpture in 2008 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her exhibited her thesis exhibition These Islands at the Krannert Museum of Art and the I space Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. In 2004, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Art in Printmaking at the University of Central Arkansas with her multimedia installation titled Oma Pines.

    Kim is involved in service to the college serving on the Faculty Grievance Committee and Assessment Committee. She also manages the Windgate Gallery collaboratively with the CHARTS Programming team.

    In 2018, Kim received her ACUE certificate and continues to exhibit her work, with her most recent body of work, You Are Magical, exhibited at the Argenta Library Gallery in North Little Rock in 2019.
