  • Academic Bio: Mrs. Johnston has been a full-time member of the Education Faculty since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Child Development from Harding University. Her Master of Science (MS) degree is in Human Environmental Sciences with an emphasis area in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Mrs. Johnston works in the Early Childhood Education and serves as the lead faculty member for the Education and Reading department teaching classes like Child Growth and Development, Foundations of Early Childhood Education, Health, Safety & Nutrition, Child Guidance, Working with Diverse Families, Development and Learning Theory and Children’s Literature. Mrs. Johnston is the lead faculty member for the programs National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation.
