Academic Bio:
Dr. Richard L. Moss is Dean of the School of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Arkansas–Pulaski Technical College, where he provides leadership in academic affairs, strategic planning, accreditation, faculty development, and institutional effectiveness. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education and public service, he is dedicated to advancing student success, developing leaders, and strengthening educational organizations. Prior to becoming dean, he directed a $3 million U.S. Department of Education Title III grant that expanded opportunities and improved outcomes for African American STEM students. Dr. Moss also teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in public policy, leadership, and public administration. A Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, he is passionate about strengths-based leadership and organizational development. His leadership extends beyond the campus through civic service, nonprofit governance, and community engagement, reflecting his commitment to educational excellence, servant leadership, and creating opportunities that positively impact students and communities.
