    Deana Nall joined UA-PTC as a full-time English instructor in 2020.

    Deana received a Master of Arts in Professional & Technical Writing in 2013 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism-Mass Communication from Abilene Christian University in 1994.

    Deana is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and the University of Arkansas Little Rock chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She received her ACUE certification in 2021. Since 1994, Deana has worked as a freelance writer and editor for numerous publications, including ACU Today (the alumni magazine of Abilene Christian University) and UST Today (the alumni magazine of University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas). In 2021, Deana published A Murder in Searcy, a book she co-authored with Mike Allen about the 1974 Porter Rodgers murder case.
