  • Academic Bio: JoNece Fields joined the college of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Art in Communication Studies and Master of Art in Communication Studies from Arkansas State University. JoNece Fields began teaching in higher education in 2014. She currently teaches speech communication. JoNece Fields Teaching Philosophy: An educator’s primary focus should be to equip students with skills that will allow them to become quality candidates in a competitive and global atmosphere. Learning should go beyond summative and formative assessments. Educators should employ the idea that learning is constantly evolving, and our innovation will allow us to reach all students where they are and elevate their level of thinking, communicating, and learning.
