Medical Coding Program Overview
Welcome to UA-PTC’s Professional Medical Coding Program (PMC), where we offer a comprehensive and practical approach to preparing individuals for a career in medical coding. This program is designed for those who have a keen interest in healthcare and a meticulous attention to detail, providing the knowledge and skills necessary for success in medical coding.

Class size is limited and not all applicants are selected for participation in the PMC program. The minimum requirements for candidates to be considered for entrance into the program include the following:

You must request an official transcript from your high school or previous college(s). The transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution if you drop it off in the Admissions office. Your high school or college can mail your transcript to us at the following address:

Step 3:
UA-PTC requires proof of two (2) MMRs (measles, mumps, rubella) for students born after January 1, 1957. Shot records must be turned in within the first 30 days of the semester to the Office of Admissions.
