UA-PTC Science Discipline Mission Statement

The Science Discipline at UA-PTC offer a wide variety of introductory science courses covering both Natural and Physical Sciences designed to meet the needs of all of our students across the General Education program as well as students entering other college programs of study.  We also offer more advanced courses for those students interested in furthering their science education by transferring to a 4-year institution.

What is Science?

Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
