Thursday, November 23, 2017

Each year, University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College and Arkansas Community Colleges present the Arkansas' Two-Year Colleges Academic All-Star scholarship program. One student is selected to represent University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College each year.

The Academic All-Star program is designed to recognize excellence in academics and leadership, and who have demonstrated superior service to University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College and the community. University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College's Academic All-Star receives a tuition and fees (excluding specialty fees) scholarship for up to two semesters at University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College. The scholarship is contingent upon the student's maintenance of a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and completion of at least 12 credit hours per semester. The recipient is recognized at the annual Arkansas Community Colleges Conference.

In order to be considered by the selection committee, students must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25, complete a minimum of 24 credit hours in pursuit of an associate degree, and intend to transfer to a four-year Arkansas university upon associate degree completion, and must be a resident of Arkansas. The recipient is selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership, community service, honors, and activities.

Applications are available each Spring Semester from the Dean of Students Office.
