Student Information Technology Services


IT Services provides a wide range of computing and technology services and resources for enrolled UA-PTC students.

IT TOOLS FOR STUDENTS

Services and Support

  • Technology and Support for Students - Helpful technology tips, computing and technology resources, and answers to commonly asked IT questions from students are provided.
  • Web Accessibility Services - Information is provided for using UA-PTC's accessibility tool, Ally on the UA-PTC website and Blackboard. Other accessibility resources for the web are also provided.

Student Workday

  • MyApps - Access Student Workday by clicking the Workday SSO-Production icon after logging in with your UA-PTC credentials. Access to Outlook, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft products are also accessible through MyApps.
  • Student Workday Instructions - Visual step-by-step instructions through the admissions, onboarding, and registration process.
  • Student Workday Resources - Training videos and quick reference guides for using different features in Student Workday.
  • Submit a Workday Ticket - Report issues or request assistance with Workday related topics.
  • Password Reset - Instructions for resetting your password.

Campus E-mail

All UA-PTC students receive an official UA - Pulaski Tech e-mail address. You are required to use your UA-PTC e-mail address for all communications with the college and your instructors. It's important to check your UA-PTC e-mail to stay informed about your classes, registration, financial aid, campus events, and much more. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) must be enabled on your device for accessing UA-PTC e-mail.

Connecting to the UA-PTC Wireless Network

UA-PTC has wireless connectivity throughout each location. When connecting to the wireless network, select UAPTC and enter your UA-PTC username and password.

Open Computer Labs

For enrolled students, the following locations below provide open computer labs. Computers in the open labs contain Microsoft based software. Students can access the internet, campus e-mail, My Apps, OneDrive, Blackboard, JAWS (screen reader) and MyLabs Plus.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

VDI is set up on all classroom computers and computer labs at the Main Campus and at Little Rock-South. Below are visual instructions in English and Spanish for using and logging out of VDI.

  • OneDrive Access - 1TB of space for files that can be accessed from any computer or mobile device.
  • OneDrive 101 - Two page step-by-step handout for using OneDrive.

Adobe Reader

UA-PTC Mobile App

NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access)

  • NVDA Download - NVDA is a free Windows-only screen reading software for blind and vision impaired users. NVDA can read text from most applications.

Lockdown Browser

  • Lockdown Browser: Windows Download - This application locks down your browser where you will be unable to print, copy, access webpage's, or any other applications while using the program. This download is for personal computers only.

Login Required Downloads

  • Microsoft Office Suite - Access to the following programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook for PC and Mac. To get started, log into Office 365 with your @students.uaptc.edu or @uaptc.edu e-mail and password. Click install office. For instructions, see the following tutorials: Windows | Mac
