Academic All-Star Scholarship

Each year, University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College and Arkansas Community Colleges present the Arkansas' Two-Year Colleges Academic All-Star scholarship program. One student is selected to represent University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College each year.

The Academic All-Star program is designed to recognize excellence in academics and leadership, and who have demonstrated superior service to University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College and the community. University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College's Academic All-Star receives a $1500 scholarship for up to two semesters at UA - Pulaski Technical College. The scholarship is contingent upon the student's maintenance of a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and completion of at least 12 credit hours per semester. The scholarship may not be used for a summer term. The recipient is recognized at the annual Arkansas Community Colleges Conference.

In order to be considered by the selection committee, students must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25, complete a minimum of 24 credit hours in pursuit of an associate degree, and intend to transfer to a four-year Arkansas university upon associate degree completion, and must be a resident of Arkansas. The recipient is selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership, community service, honors, and activities.
