The GED Scholarship is a waiver of tuition and fees. It is estimated to provide up to $10,920* in tuition and fees over 60 credit hours. The award does not pay for special course fees (e.g., aviation, culinary, occupational therapy, etc.) or books and supplies. Any other scholarships that you receive can be used on special course fees, books, supplies, and other expenses.
GED Scholarships are awarded to qualified students until funds are exhausted. Funds may not be available for spring awards if all funds are exhausted for qualified fall applicants.

If you fail to meet the above criteria each semester, you will no longer receive
the GED Scholarship.
Fall semester applications must be submitted by July 1.
Spring semester applications must be submitted by November 1.
Students who receive the GED Scholarship can apply their scholarship toward
summer courses. Enrollment in summer courses is optional.
