Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

VDI is set up on all classroom computers and computer labs at the Main Campus and at Little Rock-South. Below are visual instructions in English and Spanish for using and logging out of VDI.

Connecting to the UA-PTC Wireless Network

UA-PTC has wireless connectivity throughout each location. When connecting to the wireless network, select PTC and enter your UA-PTC username and password.

NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access)

• NVDA Download - NVDA is a free Windows-only screen reading software for blind and vision impaired users. NVDA can read text from most applications.

• Microsoft Office Suite - Access to the following programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook for PC and Mac. • Lockdown Browser (DOWNLOAD FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS) - This application locks down your browser. Users are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications, or visit other websites.
