In order for the campus to safely and appropriately respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, UA-PTC course delivery methods and the academic calendar are subject to change as per UA Board of Trustee policy and/or guidance, and national and state health and safety recommendations.

All UA-PTC Student Services are open, available, and accessible!

Academic Advising and Career Services

Academic Advising and Career Services remains accessible to all students. Students can contact the office at (501) 812-2220 or e-mail [email protected]. All e-mails and voice-mails will be returned within 24 hours. Current students interested in changing your degree plan can complete a Change of Degree/Major Form.

Registration is now open for current and new students! Students have several options to register.

Current Students:

  • Register yourself by clicking Portal 101 if you need a refresher on how to register for classes.
  • E-mail your assigned faculty advisor for assistance.
  • Contact the Academic Advising office at [email protected].

New Students:

After being admitted, all new students can call (501) 812-2220 or e-mail [email protected] to schedule an advising appointment.

Learning Assistance Center

The Learning Assistance Center (LAC) is available for online tutoring. We have moved our face-to-face services to online. Using Blackboard, students can see and hear familiar faces they are accustomed to working with from the LAC. We are always here to assist students through hard times; this will not be any different! We will honor our students and our UA-PTC mission statement by providing access to a high-quality education, promoting and enabling student learning that develops to their fullest potential.

Summer 2020 Online Tutoring Subjects and Hours

English and Literature

Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

English and Literature online tutors are available to assist with:

  • American Literature

  • Creative Writing
  • Writing Assistance
  • Format Assistance with MLA, APA, Chicago and CBE
  • Writing Assistance
  • Basic Editing

Writing assignments will need to be e-mailed to [email protected] in PDF format. While tutors can help with grammar, they can't proofread entire writing assignments. However, tutors will be happy to answer specific questions.

Math tutors will be happy to answer any specific questions but they can't assist with entire homework assignments.

Adult Education

In the wake of current events surrounding COVID-19, it is our intent to continue providing educational services for students while also protecting the health of staff and students. UA - Pulaski Technical College and the Saline County Adult Education Center's will utilize Distance Learning Resources for students to ensure a continuation of services. Financial Aid

Students are still being awarded. Federal, state, and institutional aid is still being processed. Students may contact the Office of Financial Aid through e-mail at [email protected]. Although we currently have limited phone capability to handle large call volumes, students may still call and, if they prefer, leave voice-mails for the office at (501) 812-2289. All e-mails and voice-mails will be returned within 24 hours. In addition, mail and faxes are still being accepted and processed weekly.

Testing Services

Testing Services is currently only offering virtual ACCUPLACER tests to students who are currently fully admitted and registered as UA-PTC students. Career Pathways staff is accessible online and ready to assist you. We will continue to provide support and assistance to you while operating in an online environment.
