Most Windows, Macs, and laptop computers work well in Blackboard. However, not all systems will be able to run Blackboard. If your computer does not have the proper hardware or software, Blackboard may run slowly, lack tool functionality or not work at all.
Completing tasks and assignments in Blackboard using a tablet or mobile device is not recommended as many Blackboard features will not work.

Blackboard Ally - This tool is already provided in Blackboard for retrieving content in different accessibility formats (electronic braille, mp3 audio for listening, beeline reader, and more). To use this feature, select the black "A" icon as pictured below.
Screen Reader - When using a screen reader, use Chrome and JAWS on Windows. For Mac, use Safari and VoiceOver.
The Office 365 suite is required for most assignments in Blackboard. Enrolled students and employees can download the suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more) for free at the following: Office 365 Suite (must be logged into the Campus Portal to download)
