UA-PTC Students

All currently enrolled UA-PTC students can apply for most scholarships. A few scholarships are only for second-year students — meaning students who have completed more than 30 credit hours.

Every application needs:

  • An essay
  • A letter of recommendation from a UA-PTC faculty or staff member
  • Proof of grades
  • Proof of financial aid

Please read the application instructions carefully. It's the student's responsibility to make sure they meet all eligibility requirements and submit a complete application.

The Fall 2026 scholarship application opens August 17, 2026, and closes October 29, 2026. Late applications won't be accepted, so don't wait until the last minute!

If you're awarded a scholarship, it will cover tuition and fees for Spring 2027.

Scholarship notifications are sent about 3 weeks after the deadline — check your student email.

A few important notes:

  • Thank you letter required. If you're awarded a scholarship, you must upload a thank you letter to the donor (you'll get instructions and a template with your award notice). Your scholarship funds won't be applied until this is done — skip it, and you'll lose the scholarship.
  • Minimum GPA: Minimum 2.0
  • Timing: Scholarships apply to the semester after you apply. In some cases, exceptions are made so you can use the funds for a summer class.
