Qualified CPI participants can receive assistance with the following:
Assistance is not awarded automatically, but based on funds and student need. Students must apply for PELL and those funds be exhausted prior to receiving any financial awards from CPI.
Students enrolled in the program are required to check in with CPI staff on a regular basis and have a face-to-face meeting at least once every 30 days.
Eligibility for child care and transportation requires that students work and provide monthly class attendance and work verification. These services are provided only while the student is in class and is based on their class schedule each semester.
Once a student has received a certificate and/or degree and has exited the program, CPI is required to track their employment status for at least one year.
CPI students have access to the Career Pathways computer lab in which they can study, access their student portal, apply for financial aid, find textbooks in the bookstore, complete online workshops, and access the internet.
