UA-PTC Career Pathways Initiative Program Mission Statement

To seek and increase the access of low-income custodial parents to education credentials and gain workplace skills that qualifies them for higher-paying jobs in their local areas that lead to economic self-sufficiency.

The UA-PTC Career Pathways Initiative Program is a work based program designed to help non-traditional students overcome barriers that too often keep them from being successful and unable to support their families. Funding is provided by Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), a federal grant through the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services and administered by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
