UA - Pulaski Tech Science Club gets behind-the-scenes look at Little Rock Zoo
The UA-PTC Science Club visited the Little Rock Zoo on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024.
UA-PTC professors Dr. George Lauster and Dr. Moluwa Matute took ten students and one alumnus to the Little Rock Zoo where they were given the opportunity to tour the aviary, reptile, and elephant exhibits. Students were also able to speak with zoo staff regarding their career pathways and what it is like to work in their areas as zookeepers, conservation biologists, and veterinarians.
Special thanks to zoo education program organizer, Jessica Deavult and zoo tour guide Kellie Johnson.
