ACANSA and UA-PTC get artistic at Family Arts Day 2025 in Argenta Arts District
Get ready for a day of fun and creativity as UA – Pulaski Tech, ACANSA Arts Festival of the South, and the Argenta Arts District team up for Family Arts Day 2025 on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This special event is part of the larger Dogtown Throwdown, a popular community gathering, and will transform the Argenta Arts District into a hub of artistic activity for all ages.
The event, which takes place on Main Street in North Little Rock, provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to dive into creative, hands-on activities. In addition to the art-making, you'll be treated to at least two fantastic live performances. Mömandpöp, a Parents' Choice Award-winning kids' comedy and music duo, will take the stage at 10:30 a.m. Later, at 1 p.m., 16 members of the Little Rock Winds will perform an outdoor concert.
This partnership highlights the commitment of UA-PTC's Center for Humanities and Arts (CHARTS) and the ACANSA Arts Festival to building a more vibrant and engaging community through the arts. Family Arts Day is just one of many events during the Dogtown Throwdown, which also includes a concert by Big Dam Horns on Saturday evening and a variety of food from local Argenta restaurants.
Whether you're looking for a new family tradition or a fun way to spend the day, come celebrate the arts and community at Family Arts Day 2025!
