Sales tax holiday weekend is Aug. 2-3

Arkansas' Tax Free Weekend begins Saturday, August 2, and ends Sunday, August 3, at 11:59 p.m., allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain electronic devices, school supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.

The UA-PTC Bookstore on the Main Campus inside the Campus Center Building will be open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, for students to purchase books and other school supplies tax-free. Books and supplies can also be purchased online at uaptc.edu/bookstore and on the UA-PTC mobile app throughout the tax-free weekend.
