BIC launches first non-credit Class A CDL class
UA - Pulaski Tech's Business and Industry Center (BIC) recently launched its first custom four-week non-credit Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class to offer flexibility and convenience for incumbent employees.
To meet the needs of their employees, InLine requested a short-term evening and weekend CDL customized training class through BIC’s customized training program. Dale Clancy, UA-PTC Assistant Teaching Professor of Truck Driving, designed and executed a hybrid non-credit course with a combination of online modular-based instruction with four-weeks of hands-on instruction; classes were held two evenings per week and all day Saturday. All students in the class passed the CDL exam with a 100% pass rate and now hold a Class A CDL.
The UA-PTC Business and Industry Center specializes in meeting the needs of business and industry with customized training by designing and delivering training programs specifically tailored to the unique requirements of a particular company or industry, addressing their specific challenges, processes, and skill gaps.
