Surgical Tech program open house event set for Sept. 17
Join the UA-PTC Surgical Tech Program in celebrating fast-growing and exciting career of Surgical Technology during National Surgical Technologist Week Sept. 15-21.
There will be a special open house event on UA-PTC Main Campus at the Allied Health (AHEC) Building first floor lobby Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2-5:30 p.m. Program faculty will be on hand to answer questions and provide valuable insight about this lucrative and growing career field.
“The median annual earnings for a surgical technologist in central Arkansas is more than $48,000, but many experienced professionals make more than that,” said UA-PTC Director of Surgical Technology Kacie Denham. “We are a vital part of any medical team involving surgery, and students receive the training they need in only two semesters and are prepared to work immediately upon graduation.”
There will be snacks and goodies to enjoy while you learn how to become a Surgical Technologist! For more information on the program, visit uaptc.edu/surge-tech/about-surgical-technology.
