UA-PTC Office of Counseling Services sets mental health assistance, awareness events
The UA-PTC Office of Counseling and Disability Services will offer multiple opportunities for students to learn how to cope with the struggles many people face. Watch for the following ways to engage and learn:

- Sept. 16 - Suicide Prevention Table, Main, CCB Lobby,10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Sept. 18 - Suicide Prevention Table, South Concourse,10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Sept. 24 - Unplanned Pregnancy Table, South Concourse, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Sept. 26 - Unplanned Pregnancy Table, Main CCB Lobby, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Oct. 7-8 - Domestic Violence Awareness event, Main, CCB lobby, 10 a.m. -1 p.m.
- Oct. 9-10 - Domestic Violence Awareness event, South Concourse, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The mission of the Office of Counseling and Disability Services is to support the emotional, intellectual, and social development of students at UA - Pulaski Technical College. Counseling and Disability Services provides access, promotes student learning, and enable individuals to develop to their fullest potential by identifying and removing barriers to academic success and assisting students with the development of new skills that will enrich their lives.
The Office of Counseling Services provides a confidential, supportive and safe environment where students can share problems, concerns, and issues they are experiencing without the fear of judgment. Our licensed mental health professional is available to help students with emotional, social and personal development.
