Culinary Institute achieves exemplary accreditation status
On Feb. 20, leadership at UA-PTC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI) received the results of last October’s American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission site visit.
The results: EXEMPLARY!
Exemplary status was granted to the following degree programs:
- Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts
- Technical Certificate in Culinary Arts
- Associate of Applied Science in Baking & Pastry
- Technical Certificate in Baking & Pastry
Program accreditation is extended through Dec. 31, 2030.
"We worked hard to get the culinary school not only up to ACF standards but exceeding standards and it showed," said Dr. Robert L. Hall, Associate Teaching Professor of Culinary Arts and department chair. "From the curriculum to sanitation; from faculty, student, and advisory board engagement to our presence in the community; from administration’s support of the program to the many university services that support our students, it was determined that we shine in ALL criteria. This was and continues to be a direct result of everyone’s daily efforts and attention to detail."
