UA - Pulaski Tech steps up to participate in Make48 contest
The Make48 television show was back in North Little Rock Arkansas for Season 7 Nationals Nov. 9-12. The AR Regional Innovation Hub hosted the winners from the 2023 competitions to find out who will be crowned the grand champions of Season 7.
With access to expert tool technicians and high-tech equipment, competing teams will have the power to build almost anything. UA – Pulaski Tech is pulling for the home team, featuring Director of Technical Sciences Dr. Rick Barker (shown at right) and Fine Arts & Humanities faculty chair David Carpenter (at left).
Make48 is a 48-hour competition where teams are presented with a challenge and tasked to build a physical prototype, create a sales sheet, produce a 1-minute marketing video and pitch their big idea to a panel of judges. The winners will be announced later.
