UA-PTC culinary school to operate on-campus cafeteria
University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI) has been changing the culinary landscape in central Arkansas for 15 years, and it soon will transform the campus food service as well.
Beginning fall semester, the operation of the food service facilities at the UA-PTC Main Campus and at Little Rock - South will be managed by CAHMI's Chef Scott Strzelecki. The new names and menus for the facilities will be unveiled at the beginning of the semester. At Main Campus, a soft opening is under way, offering limited lunch options 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Opening date for Little Rock - South will be shared soon.
"We are thrilled to engage our culinary students with real-world, hands-on experience while we improve the quality and variety of offerings for on-campus dining," said Chef Strzelecki. " I think students, employees, and community visitors alike will enjoy what's in store."
