Dental Assistant Recognition Week is March 5-11
Dental Assistant Recognition Week is March 5-11. Dental Assistants Recognition Week is held the first full week in March every year. The week offers a chance to time to appreciate and recognize this versatile, multi-talented member of your dental team. Dentists in the United States and Canada will celebrate by honoring their dental assistants for their various duties and helping them provide patients with quality dental care.
The theme for 2023 is The Heart of Dental Offices Through Education, Commitment, & Safety, and acknowledges the growing importance of dentistry's role in health care and the responsibilities of dental assistants. Dental assistants are a key part of the dental practice year-round and strengthen the entire practice and enhance patient satisfaction. Dental assistants are committed to professional development and quality dental care.
The UA-PTC Dental Assisting program provides educational opportunities for students to perform at a high level as a dental assistant to meet the needs of the dentist, patients, and their community in the maintenance of dental health and prevention of dental disease.
