Arron DeGracia named new Career Institute Director
Arron DeGracia has been named the new Career Institute Director. Arron comes to UA-PTC with eight years of experience in administrative leadership and over 15 years in the field of education. He has extensive experience in the development, implementation, and execution of education programs and opportunities that facilitate student achievement. Arron also worked closely with industry partners in his former role to connect students with the workforce.
Arron will lead the UA-PTC Career Institute for high school juniors and seniors from surrounding public high schools. The Institute will launch at the North Little Rock Main Campus in Spring of 2023 with programs in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), Cybersecurity, Medical Professions, and Welding.
The new Career Institute replaces the former Career Center located at the Little Rock-South site. A new webpage on the UA-PTC website will be released in the upcoming months with full details about the Career Institute.
