Applications are open for UA-PTC's Student Ambassador program
UA - Pulaski Tech is currently accepting applications for the Student Ambassador program until all positions are filled. Students in the program who fulfill all requirements will receive a $1,000 scholarship per semester.
The Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students who are excited about their experience at UA-PTC and would like an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the College. Admittance to the Student Ambassador program is based on academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities and the recommendation of faculty and staff.
While representing UA-PTC both on and off campus, students will gain leadership skills, network with other students and members of the community, and more by participating in campus activities and events throughout the academic year.
To apply, there are two different options to choose from:
- Student Services Ambassador - Students give campus tours and assist with campus recruitment days, introduce new students to UA-PTC resources, greet and answer questions for new students at the Welcome Center/Admissions/Financial Aid areas, and reach out to incoming students by phone, mail-outs, and campus recruitment events.
- Student Activity Ambassador - Students participate in speaking engagements, community outreach, new student orientation, and are involved in the planning, promotion, and implementation of campus events for students. Along with encouraging other students to be involved in campus events and leadership activities.
