Campus entrances to require wellness checks
Beginning Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 a.m. and for the remainder of the semester, there will be a wellness check station at the entrances to Main Campus, CHARTS, and Allied Health buildings in North Little Rock. Campus police will be taking the temperatures of all students, employees, and guests at UA-PTC.
The Allied Health station at the main entrance of the building will be primarily for all Allied Health program students. The CHARTS station is for students who have classes in that location; please enter CHARTS through the Lobby entrance. The Main Campus-NLR gate on West Scenic Drive is for students who have classes in the remainder of Main Campus buildings. If you have a number of classes on Main Campus, please enter through the main gate for your temp check.
Little Rock-South Site, Aerospace Technology Center in North Little Rock, and Saline County Adult Education Center will all have their own temperature-taking stations as student access those sites.
If anyone has a temperature that registers 100.4 degrees or more, they will be asked to return home. This new health protocol is being implemented to further mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus on campus. Persons in whom an elevated temperature is detected are strongly encouraged to contact their own health provider and to quarantine as necessary.
