UA-PTC Foundation names Robert Klein 2019 Diamond Chef Event Chair
“The Diamond Chef competition gets bigger and better each year. With Robert Klein as our chair, I believe this year will be the best ever!” Todd Gold, associate dean of UA - Pulaski Tech’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute (CAHMI), remarked.
Klein is the co-founder of The Property Group, the most innovative residential real estate brokerage firm in Little Rock. He began selling real estate in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the top-selling brokers in Central Arkansas.
Klein also serves as a member of the UA – Pulaski Tech Foundation board of directors. “We are very excited to have Robert serve as our event chair,” said Shannon Boshears, UA – Pulaski Tech Foundation Executive Director, “Robert’s leadership skills and charismatic personality are sure to make the 12th year of Diamond Chef nothing less than spectacular!”
Klein and The Property Group support a number of charitable and civic organizations through PG Promise, the firm’s philanthropy arm. Past and present beneficiaries include the following: Arkansas Foodbank, Single Parent Scholarship Fund, and Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation.
“Diamond Chef is one of my favorite events in Arkansas! I look forward to working behind the scenes, meeting chefs and helping to raise money for such a worthy cause,” Klein commented.
A highly energetic and creative entrepreneur, Klein is focused on implementing his vision for a real estate company in which both the broker and client experience the highest level of service and support. He is primarily responsible for the recruitment and retention of The Property Group’s brokers, as well as the development and implementation of the firm’s award-winning marketing programs.
Klein’s accomplishments have been widely recognized by the real estate industry and the broader business community. Honors include: “Inman Incubator” Finalist; Arkansas Business’ “Best of Biz” Residential Realtor and Brokerage; AY Magazine’s Best Realtor; Soiree’s Best Realtors (eight years running); and At Home Local Favorites.
Executive chefs and sous chefs who are interested in competing in Diamond Chef Arkansas 2019 are invited to enter “Makin’ the Cut,” the preliminary round, which will be held on Monday, November 12 at UA – Pulaski Tech’s CAHMI. Past Diamond Chef champions include, Chefs Mary Beth Ringgold, Donnie Ferneau, Marc Guizol, Jason Knapp, and Daniel Capello.
Proceeds from Diamond Chef Arkansas benefit the students and programs at UA - Pulaski Technical College.
