Women in STEM Conference

Women in STEM Workshop set for Sept. 28

August 28, 2018

The UA-PTC STEM Success Program will host the Women in STEM Workshop Friday, September 28, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., at the Campus Center Grand Hall. This enjoyable day of engaging professional development will feature an informative panel discussion with local STEM Professionals, networking opportunities with successful women in STEM fields, and inspiring break-out sessions. The mission of STEM Success is to increase the retention and graduation of underrepresented students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in hopes of creating a sustainable pipeline to STEM programs and careers in Arkansas. We promote opportunities and engage students by providing academic support, career and personal development, and financial literacy.
