Phil Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta honor societies hold annual induction ceremonies
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and Sigma Kappa Delta (SKD) honor societies held their annual induction ceremonies on April 18, 2024 in the CHARTS theater.
These two honor societies acknowledge students who strive for success, and we celebrated these students with a reception in the CHARTS lobby followed by the induction ceremonies in the theater.
Provost Dr. Ana Hunt delivered the evening’s opening remarks, providing history on both PTK and SKD. Faculty sponsors, Kate Evans with SKD and Jessica Wise and Meredith Stanton with PTK, officiated the inductions. PTK President, Kade Armond, recited the oath and assisted in the evening’s events. The ceremony closed with remarks from Sidney Myers, who was inducted into both societies, where he challenged students to continue reaching for success as they find their place in the community.
Family and friends were present to cheer on the students, making this a very successful night!
