UA-PTC CHARTS stage to light up with “A Very Electric Christmas”
The Center for Humanities and Arts (CHARTS) at UA–Pulaski Technical College will host the dazzling glow-in-the-dark holiday performance, A Very Electric Christmas, on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. The performance is part of the CHARTS Live 2025-26 performing arts series.

The family-friendly production tells the story of Max, a young bird whose journey south for the winter is interrupted when he gets blown off course and lands at the North Pole. Max’s adventure begins as the stage comes alive with dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettias, all lit up in a magical display.
The captivating tale of family, friendship and hope is set to timeless holiday hits from artists including Nat King Cole and Mariah Carey, as well as classical selections from Tchaikovsky.

A Very Electric Christmas dinner menu, served 6 – 7:15 p.m. in the Performance Hall off CHARTS lobby. Adults - $16 Children (12 and under) - $10
- Dessert decorating station including – Sugar cookies, Mini Cupcakes and Rice Krispie Treats
- Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar – Classic Milk Chocolate hot chocolate with whipped cream, flavored syrups and candy crunch toppings.
- Holiday Charcuterie Board – Assorted meats, cheeses, grapes, dried cranberries, candied pecans, crackers, and crostini
- Savory Snack Mix – House-blended mix of pretzels, rye chips, cheese crackers, and nuts
About Lightwire Theater
Lightwire Theater presents a unique entertainment experience that utilizes light, technology, and music to tell captivating stories. Shows are designed to bring audiences of all ages into a fantastical world of imagination.
Lightwire Theater has been featured as a semi-finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent and as the winner of Tru TV's Fake Off. The group combines theater and technology to bring stories to life with its signature brand of electroluminescent artistry.
Lightwire Theater was officially founded in January 2012, premiering The Ugly Duckling, and has since produced six shows.Co-creators Ian Carney and Corbin Popp met in New York City while dancing in Twyla Tharp's Movin' Out on Broadway. An immediate connection formed between the artists as they discovered a mutual love of art, theater, and technology. Working with their wives, Eleanor and Whitney, the co-creators began to experiment with shapes and designs to develop puppetry-based neon creatures that quickly came to life. In 2007, the first show, Dino Light, was created under Corbian Arts.
Based in New Orleans, Lightwire Theater continues to create and deliver innovative theatrical experiences to audiences worldwide, including in Abu Dhabi, Belarus, Canada, China, France, Estonia, and Hong Kong.
About CHARTS
The Center for Humanities and Arts (CHARTS) is located at UA – Pulaski Technical College’s Main Campus at 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The facility has plenty of convenient, free parking. Opened in 2016, the 90,000 square-foot facility houses a 456-seat proscenium theater that provides a comfortable listening environment that is perfect for concerts, theater performances, recitals and other events. In addition, CHARTS houses the Windgate Gallery for art exhibits. The CHARTS lobby and the adjacent Performance Studio are popular rental spaces for receptions and events.
