Gov. Sanders appoints three to UA - Pulaski Tech Board of Visitors

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced last week the appointments of Mark Bremer, Rajesh Chokhani, and Jack Thomas to the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Board of Visitors.

UA - Pulaski Tech is advised by a seven-member Board of Visitors appointed by the Governor of the State of Arkansas. Board members serve seven-year terms and reside within the UA-PTC service area. The Arkansas State Senate must confirm the appointments. If confirmed, their terms run through July 1, 2033.

Mark Bremer
Bremer brings nearly 40 years of aerospace industry leadership to the board. He currently serves as Vice President of Industrial Operations for Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, where he oversees the completion of corporate aircraft delivered worldwide. A U.S. Air Force veteran originally assigned to Little Rock Air Force Base, Bremer has served as president of the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance for more than four years and is an honorary commander for the 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. He is also a long-serving member of the Little Rock Workforce Development Board and an advocate for cancer survivors.

Rajesh Chokhani
Chokhani is the president of BOND.AI, a top 100 national fintech firm headquartered in Little Rock, and creator of The BOND Network. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Welspun Tubular, where he spearheaded the setup and expansion of its Little Rock manufacturing campus. Chokhani made history in 2023 as the first Indian-American chairman of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce in its 157-year history. He previously served on the UA-PTC Board of Visitors from 2017 to 2024, including a year as Chairman. He sits on several other local business and civic boards, including Arvest Bank, Harmony Health Clinic, and the Hindu Temple of Central Arkansas.

Jack Thomas
Thomas serves as Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Little Rock Regional Chamber, where he works directly with corporate entities looking to locate, expand, and invest across the metropolitan area. His work has contributed to the creation of more than 10,000 jobs in Arkansas and led statewide legislative initiatives like the Arkansas Impact package. A Little Rock native, Thomas earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business from Harding University before beginning his career at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. On the board, Thomas will focus on aligning workforce initiatives, deepening regional industry partnerships, and expanding institutional growth.
