UA – Pulaski Tech Adult Education: GED and more!
The GED test helps people show they have the same education as someone who finished high school. If you didn't finish high school, this test can help you get a better job or go to college.
If you want to take the GED test, you can try a practice test first. It's called GED Ready. If you have questions about the GED test or need help because of a disability, you can call (501) 812-2779.
You can take the GED test at the UA-PTC Little Rock – South location at 13000 I-30, Room 103. You can take the test on Thursdays and Fridays. The times are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There are also free classes to help you get ready for the GED test and learn other important things for work. These classes are at two places in North Little Rock. One is at 3000 West Scenic Dr., and the other is at the same address as the GED test, 13000 I-30.
In these free classes, you can learn:
- What you need to know for the GED test.
- How to get a job.
- How to speak English better.
- How to get ready for college.
- Other skills that can help you.
To join these classes, you need to be 16 or older. You will take a simple test to see what you already know. You also need to show your ID and go to an orientation class to learn about the classes. If you need help because of a disability, we will try to help you.
