Fund your future: Academic All-Star Scholarship deadline is approaching!

Are you a dedicated student with a passion for academic excellence and community involvement? Do you dream of transferring to a four-year Arkansas university? Then the Academic All-Star Scholarship is for you!

The UA-PTC Academic All-Star application is now open! It offers a great opportunity to be recognized for your achievements while you receive valuable financial support. The application closes Friday, April 18.

What's in it for you?

• $1500 Scholarship: Receive a $1500 scholarship, distributed over two semesters (Fall 2025 and Spring 2026), to help you achieve your academic goals at UA-PTC.
• Transfer Opportunities: Past Academic All-Stars have received additional transfer scholarships from Arkansas four-year institutions at the annual Arkansas Community Colleges conference in October. This could be your chance to secure funding for your bachelor's degree!
• Leadership Development: Attend the ACC Annual Conference Monday, October 13 and the ACC Leadership Conference (Spring 2026) to enhance your leadership skills and network with fellow students.
• Recognition: Be recognized for your outstanding academic achievements and contributions to the UA-PTC community.

Application Requirements are

• Complete the application form.
• Write a short essay
• Provide two letters of recommendation.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible, you must:

• Be an Arkansas resident.
• Be enrolled at UA-PTC and plan to continue enrollment through at least Spring 2026.
• Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours by May 16, 2025, in pursuit of an associate degree.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Demonstrate active involvement in campus and community activities.
• Intend to graduate from UA-PTC with an associate degree by Summer 2026.
• Intend to transfer to an Arkansas four-year university upon associate degree completion.
• Be able to attend the ACC Annual Conference (October 13), ACC Leadership Conference (Spring 2026), and UA-PTC Graduation (May 2026).

Scholarship Stipulations:

• The scholarship is for tuition only, for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 terms.
• Recipients must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and complete at least 12 credit hours per semester.
• The scholarship cannot be used for summer terms.
