PTK Stuffed Animal Drive Brings Joy
For the past month, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) has collected new stuffed animals to donate to Pathfinder Preschool with the hope that each child there could receive a new stuffed friend for Christmas. This hope became a reality, and we are all so touched by the happiness that this drive brought to the children.
On Friday, December 13, the children of Pathfinder Preschool each received a stuffed animal of their choice from Santa. The director, Debbie Scharbor, said, "The children were so happy to pick a new friend, and we are so thankful for the smiles and joy that Phi Theta Kappa brought to our school."
PTK Faculty Advisors Jessica Wise and Meredith Stanton stated that this is one of their favorite drives to sponsor because it not only brightens the children's day but their day as well. "Seeing the pictures of the children meeting their new stuffed friends is the best Christmas magic out there!"
Phi Theta Kappa thanks the UA-PTC students, faculty, and staff who so generously donated to this drive. Happy Holidays, indeed!
