October 21, 2024

The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College Theater Department invites students to be part of a staged reading with a professional theater company! All theater enthusiasts, aspiring actors, and anyone who loves the creative process is invited to participate.

The college is partnering with Shake on the Lake, a professional theater company from New York, to present a staged reading of an original work in development.

What is a Staged Reading?

This is your chance to be part of a unique learning experience! A staged reading is a relaxed performance where actors read scripts aloud, focusing on bringing the characters and story to life. It's a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Hone your acting skills in a supportive environment.

No prior experience is necessary! Whether you're a seasoned performer or just theater-curious, this is a great way to get involved.
