Kaley Osborne named 2024 UA-PTC Academic All-Star
UA-PTC is proud to recognize Kaley Osborne, the 2024 Academic All-Star from University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College! Kaley was recognized Monday at the Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) annual conference in Hot Springs.
Kaley Osborne is pursuing an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences and plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Print Journalism. Kaley maintains a 4.0 grade point average and regularly tutors other students. She is a member of Student Senate, Secretary/Historian of the Politics and History Club, and TRiO Support Services. She also attended the ACC Student Leadership Conference. In her free time, she is involved with her church's outreach activities, which include Operation Christmas Child and a weekly outreach to homeless persons through the Serve on the Streets Ministry.
Recipients of the Academic All-Star Scholarship receive a $1500 scholarship for up to two semesters at UA - Pulaski Tech. Winners are selected based on personal interviews, grade point average, demonstrated involvement in campus and community activities, intent to transfer to an Arkansas four-year university upon associate degree completion, and meeting other eligibility requirements.
