First Arkansas Bank & Trust Invests in UA - Pulaski Tech Business Education

UA - Pulaski Technical College (UA-PTC) has announced a new partnership with First Arkansas Bank & Trust (FAB&T) in support of the college's Business and Information Technology Department. FAB&T's generous $5,000 contribution to the UA-PTC Foundation will directly benefit students through a series of valuable outreach activities during the 2024-2025 academic year.

UA-PTC has a long-standing commitment to strengthening the workforce by providing affordable, high-quality education that equips students for success in a wide variety of fields. This partnership will further enhance opportunities for students in the Department of Business and Information Technology, preparing them for fulfilling careers in entrepreneurship, business administration, and information technology.

“FAB&T's dedication to education and community development aligns perfectly with UA-PTC's mission,” said FAB&T President and COO Mark Wilson. “This partnership will empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in Arkansas's dynamic business landscape.”

Engaging Activities and Networking Opportunities

Students will benefit from several exciting initiatives sponsored by FAB&T, including:

  • Entrepreneurship Expo: This event connects students with local professionals, resources, and organizations like FAB&T to explore their entrepreneurial options.
  • Student Breakfast: FAB&T employees and clients will share real-world experiences and valuable insights with students during a breakfast or lunch session.
  • Business Etiquette Dinner: Students will receive experienced guidance on networking etiquette and proper dining manners at this unique event hosted by UA-PTC's Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute.
