UA-PTC students excel at leadership academy
Three UA-PTC student ambassadors and senators, Kaley Osborne, Janiece Beauregard, and Destiny Mbuthia, attended the Arkansas Collegiate Network Student Leadership Academy in Little Rock July 16. The students received education and training regarding drug and alcohol awareness, including hands-on training on how to administer Narcan (naloxone) in the event of an opioid-related emergency.
Through networking with other students from other two- and four-year institutions from Arkansas they learned about innovative ways to promote healthy lifestyles at UA-PTC. As always, our students stood out as leaders and proud representatives of the college.
