Phi Theta Kappa donates winter items to Salvation Army
By Sidney Meyers, UA-PTC student
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) sponsored a Cold Weather Drive to benefit the Salvation Army, and it was a great success thanks to the hard work of the members and the kindness of numerous donors. Barbara Daniel, Director of Development at the Salvation Army stated, “We’re incredibly thankful for the PTK donation during the extreme cold. The blankets and coats helped with our biggest needs so that we can further help those that are most in need in our community.”
PTK Faculty Advisor Jessica Wise stated, “It’s always great to see students come together for a great cause! We had a great time working on this project, and we are looking forward to more projects for 2024.”
PTK President, Kade Armond said, “We’re always grateful for the opportunity to help out in the community, and we’re looking forward to our Spring Cleanup project coming soon.”
