Spring semester 2024 is off to a late start

Spring semester 2024 will begin almost a week late at UA-PTC after inclement weather and dangerous travel conditions forced the college's four-day closure.

The official first day of the Spring 2024 semester will now be Monday, Jan. 22.

UA-PTC Offices of Admissions, Advising/Registration, Registrar, and Financial Aid will remain open until 6 p.m. (or until the last person is served) on Monday, Jan. 22, and Tuesday, Jan. 23.

The Academic Calendar for the semester has changed. The most up-to-date list of new dates is here: www.uaptc.edu/dates.

Please note these critical new dates:

• Students may continue to add/drop/swap courses through Jan. 26.
• Late Registration will continue through Jan. 26.
• Students withdrawing from classes by Jan. 26 will receive 100% tuition and fees refund.
• Students who drop classes between Jan. 29 and Feb. 2 receive a 50% refund. After this day, tuition and fees charged to students are not refunded.
• The Financial Aid refund date is Feb. 23.

Other important dates:

• The last day of finals is May 10, 2024.
• Commencement Ceremony is still May 11, 2024 at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock.
