"Psyche" reception at Windgate Gallery set for June 15

Jenn Perren and Anna (A.L.) Wagner create self-reflective works that explore “invisible” forces that shape the human mind and spirit. While Perren reimagines ornamental mascaron, faces that serve as guardians on sacred architecture, Wagner uses iconography and pattern as social commentary on anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Both artists offer contemplation on how our minds cope from a distinctly female perspective.
Jenn Perren is a working artist in Little Rock. She earned a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2014 and completed post undergraduate studies at the Kansas City Art Institute and Penland School of Craft.
A.L. Wagner is a ceramics artist living in Cabot. She completed her BFA in Ceramics at the University of Central Arkansas in 2020 and was an artist-in residence this past year at UCA.
