UA-PTC celebrates conferral of 1,390 degrees and certificates
University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College held 2023 commencement exercises on Saturday, May 13, at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock.
Elizabeth Eckford of the Little Rock Nine received an honorary degree for her leadership and example as a leader in the American civil rights movement.
UA-PTC student Malachi Steward (top) delivered a positive, compelling keynote address.
1,390 graduates received degrees or certificates in the 2023 academic year. 564 students participated in commencement exercises. As customary, members of the UA – System Board of Trustees and the UA - Pulaski Tech Board of Visitors assisted in the awarding of diplomas.
“Commencement is the culmination of years of commitment, sacrifice, and hard work,” said Chancellor Summer DeProw. “The achievements of our graduates are truly inspiring!”
