New updates for UA-PTC's Mobile App
To continue to bring the best app experience, UA-PTC Information Technology Services have made several updates to the new UA-PTC Mobile App.
Here's what's new:
Personas - A "Select Your App Experience" menu appears when the app is first accessed. This gives users the choice to choose a persona that best fits the user. On the bottom of any persona screen, users have the option to change app experiences and visit another persona.
Student - This persona provides access to the campus portal, summer/fall registration info, final exam schedule, campus e-mail, password reset, course search, blackboard, campus directory, payment options, tutoring, safety, calendar and more!
Employee - This persona provides access to professional development, employee benefits, campus portal, password reset, campus e-mail, submit IT/Physical Plant ticket and more!
Alumni - This persona provides information and services for the UA-PTC Alumni and Friends Association, including the option to become a member via the app.
Guest - This persona provides access to the application for admissions, processes for admissions and requirements, request information about the college, financial aid, payment options, programs offered, academic calendar, campus news and more!
Push Notifications - Push notifications are important messages about UA-PTC sent by the college to your device. If you choose not to receive push notifications, messages will automatically be sent to your messages folder in the app. The next time you access the app, you'll see an unread message notification. As an option under this section, you can opt-in to receive special notification messages for the following:
- Admissions and Financial Aid
- Student Support Services
- Campus Life
- Employee Relations
- Community Events
You can opt-out of any opt-in messages at anytime under the opt-in section in the app.
If you don’t have the UA-PTC mobile app, it’s available for free in the Apple and Google Play app stores by searching for UAPTC Mobile.
More features and services are being added on a continuous basis to bring you the best app experience. For questions about the UA-PTC mobile app, visit www.uaptc.edu/app/faq
