Final exams to be given online
When UA-PTC suspended in-person courses on campus March 11, we anticipated a return date of May 1 for classes to meet and hold final exams. We hoped for the best, but this no longer is a prudent course of action.
We will not be returning to an in-person environment for classes or finals. All finals will be delivered online.
Final examinations will be conducted at the originally scheduled times May 6–12.
Some programs in the Technical and Professional Sciences and Allied Health areas may have to return to complete course work or testing due to national accreditation requirements. Those students have already been contacted by faculty. Students and instructors in these specific programs are finalizing details to successfully conclude these programs. All proper social distancing protocols will be strictly adhered.
This action is the same as many of the other UA institutions as well as what our state’s K-12 districts have done this semester. While we are very disappointed to take this measure, the safety of our students and employees must come first.
